Just hearing this terrific little gem from '69 for the very first time...

The sound/mix is superior to most of what is circulating from '69, and while nothing here is going to steal your mind, when was the last time you heard an excellent show from 1969 for the very first time?

The seventeen minute Dark Star gets some traction about halfway through, but the band veers into Cosmic Charlie, before cold-starting St. Stephen-> Eleven, complete with an interesting William Tell Bridge punctuated with some intense drum-work and chimes from TC, who shines throughout!

Thank you very much Charlie...

5/30/69 - Springer's Inn, Portland, OR

Morning Dew, Me And My Uncle, Doin' That Rag, I'm A King Bee, Dark Star -> Cosmic Charlie, St. Stephen -> The Eleven -> Turn On Your Lovelight

Thanks Cliff. Since i just asked about TC the other day and you single him out in this gig I might as well take a stab.

Thanks for the heads up on this one Cliff! Streaming it now and it's a real jewel. Great sound too.
